Alien Invasive species are by law prohibited without permits. This means that any individual who owns, breeds or transports these parakeets is required by law to apply for a permit from the Department of Forestry, Fisheries & the Environment.
All PASA members are required to submit their Ringneck reports to PASA by 31 March 2026.
