The Parrot Breeders Association of Southern Africa (PASA) continues to place strong emphasis on awareness and education within the avicultural community. The association believes that information is the most powerful tool for addressing environmental challenges and promoting responsible bird keeping.
Through clear communication and guidance, PASA helps both members and pet owners understand the legislative requirements surrounding alien and invasive species, as well as the importance of compliance and ethical aviculture practices.
New outreach and education initiatives are currently being developed to further support responsible ownership and strengthen cooperation between breeders, conservation authorities, and the public.
PASA welcomes creative ideas and financial contributions from members and supporters — every effort helps to build a stronger, more informed, and united community working towards sustainable aviculture in South Africa.
